There's nothing like discovering a band in which after hearing one song you want to track down and listen to everything else they have put out. The Mhurs is a great example of one of those bands. Although they have been together for over 4 years, they only have a handful of songs to their name. Rumor has it that they are working on a debut album to be released sometime this year.
I fell in love with The Mhurs as soon as I heard “I’m Sorry Forever”. It opens with an eery guitar line and the slightest of bass touches hinting at what’s to follow: an absolutely immense main riff with bluesy verses and a big, filthy guitar solo for a bridge that could have been ripped straight from the fingers of Jack White.
Check it out below and let me know what you think.
Great band and nice blog.

I never heard of them before, but they seem promising. followed
ReplyDeleteI like it. The band has a nice indie sound and the singer kinda reminds me of some older vintage rock singers.
