Rappers You Should Check Out: Aesop Rock


Aesop Rock is probably my favorite rappers right now. His style has been criticized as stream of conscious bullshit, but I find it brilliant. His lyrics for one album could probably fill a small book, and this dude must have a dictionary and thesaurus next to him as he's writing. I was lucky enough to meet this guy after a show he played, and he seems like a stand up guy. Anyway check out the song and let me know what you think.

    He has a nice flow, but I find it hard to relate/connect with his rap.

    its pretty decent, but dunno maybe the beat or his voice? but it doesnt feel good to me that i want to hear more

    Aesop is very good, I also HIGHLY recommend Mf Doom/Mavillian. He's a maniac.
